Shanice & Matthew's wedding at The Acre Boomerang Farm on the Gold Coast was an absolute stunner.
Leading up to their big day, the forecast was all about rain, and I couldn’t help but worry for them. But you know what they say about rain on wedding days – it’s good luck, right? And boy, did luck shine on them! The sun decided to show up in full force, blessing their outdoor ceremony on the lush lawn with its golden glow. The vows were a mix of touching moments and a few laughs, setting the stage for one of the most epic confetti walks I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing, followed by emotional hugs from family and friends. After snapping some family pics, everyone kicked back under the umbrellas for cocktail hour, and one of the coolest things? Shanice and Matthew got to mingle with their guests too, which was just awesome.
As the sun started to set, we whisked the bridal party off to a nearby rustic shed for some fun shots, and then hopped into golf buggies for some stunning portraits of just the two lovebirds. Remember how worried I was about the weather? Turns out, it was all for nothing – the sun came out in full force, blessing us with some seriously beautiful moments.
As night fell, it was time for their grand entrance to the barn, and let me tell you, the energy was electric. After settling in for dinner, it was all about heartfelt speeches, cutting the cake, and that unforgettable first dance. And then? Well, it was time to crank up the party, with everyone hitting the dance floor and letting loose. Rain or shine, Shanice and Matthew’s wedding was pure magic!
