Amy & Steve are married! These two became husband and wife and it was absolutely beautiful.
When I had first chatted with Amy about her wedding day, the original plan was to have a full wedding with plenty of friends and family at her parents property, Carool.
We met up at the property, we talked about options as their wedding day was quickly approaching, and I told them that I was willing to be as flexible as I could. As the date soon approached, Amy notified me that they had changed their plans and decided to still get married at her parents, but would have the reception at Potager. A quirky little restaurant just down the road that has a reputation for a menu featuring locally sourced and farmed seasonal produce.
When I arrived at their home the weather was absolutely perfect and the HUGE Fig tree in the back yard was the backdrop for the ceremony. As Amy put on her dress, she couldn’t contain her smile and I just knew that it would be such a special day. We then moved to the backyard where an intimate group of family & friends were on hand to witness them saying their vows. After officially becoming husband and wife everyone moved on to the veranda for drinks, then some cars ferried guests a few hundred meters down the road to Potager for more drinks and an amazing meal. As the sun was setting we took some portraits in the front yard and their happiness was literally radiating.
Congrats, Amy & Steve
