Katie and Lukeā€™s summer wedding at Kohinur Hall in Northern NSW was a laid-back, love-filled celebration with all the charm of a country gathering.

Their story started a decade ago in India, where Katie decided Luke was her guyā€”and, as everyone joked throughout the day, Katie doesnā€™t lose sight of her goals! Fast forward 10 years, three gorgeous kids, and a life full of adventures, they finally said ā€œI doā€ surrounded by their nearest and dearest.

My day started at Kohinur Hall, nestled in the lush Northern NSW countryside. It was decked out in simple, rustic detailsā€”wildflowers in jars, beautiful natural light, and wooden tables made to look like the fanciest family feast ever.

The ceremony took place under the shade of a giant tree beside the hall. Katie arrived, stepping out in her disco ball boots, with her bouquet in hand and a huge smile on her face. Lukeā€™s face lit up when he saw her, setting the tone for a sweet and personal ceremony. The celebrant shared the story of how they met and Katieā€™s determination to win Lukeā€™s heart, which had everyone laughing and tearing up in equal measure. Their vows were a mix of heartfelt promises and cheeky inside jokes that perfectly captured who they are as a couple. After rings and a kiss, they were officially married, walking back down the aisle hand in hand through a shower of confetti.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and grazing platters on the lawn while the kids ran wild, climbing trees and playing tag. Katie and Luke joined them after some quick family photos, soaking up the joy of being surrounded by the people whoā€™d been there for their journey. We stole the couple away for a little while for some photos in the nearby rainforest & creek, capturing the two of them laughing and dancing against the backdrop of steep hills.

Their wedding wasnā€™t just a celebration of their love; it was a testament to the life theyā€™d built togetherā€”a relaxed, joyful, and heartfelt day theyā€™ll never forget.
