Byron Tides Estate Wedding

Perched on a ridge with views that stretched from the rolling hills to the west, all the way to the ocean to the east and set amidst a working macadamia farm, the venue’s rows of trees and luxurious spaces created a perfect blend of elegance and nature.

Felicity spent the morning in the estate’s stunning villa, a space designed for relaxation and luxury. With her best friends & close family by her side, she got ready in a calm atmosphere. Her dress was timeless, perfectly fitting the elegant yet laid-back vibe of the day. Meanwhile, Andrew and his groomswomen were in their own  suite, sharing laughs as they tied his bow tie and looked forward to the ceremony ahead.

The ceremony itself took place under a massive tree in the middle of the macadamia rows, with the warm October sun casting a soft glow over everything. The simplicity of the setup—just a few rows of chairs for their closest family and friends, and some delicate flowers—let the natural beauty of the surroundings speak for itself. As the guests settled in, the flower girls and page boy made their entrance, looking absolutely adorable but needing a bit of encouragement to make it down the aisle, much to everyone’s amusement. It was one of those charming moments that had everyone smiling and set the tone for the relaxed, joyful day ahead.

When Felicity appeared, her smile seemed to light up the entire space and as she walked down the aisle, Andrew couldn’t take his eyes off her. The connection between them was undeniable, and as they shared their vows, it was clear how deeply they cared for each other. Their words were personal, full of love, a couple of giggles and had more than a few guests dabbing their eyes. As they exchanged rings and sealed their promises with a kiss, the small group of guests erupted in cheers.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued on the terrace, where guests were treated to drinks and canapés as they watched the sun begin its descent behind the hills. The relaxed atmosphere was filled with soft laughter, the sound of glasses clinking, and the happy buzz of conversation. Felicity and Andrew were all smiles, mingling with their family and friends, savoring every moment of their special day.

As the sun began to set, we whisked the newlyweds away to capture some beautiful shots of them walking hand in hand through the macadamia trees, the golden light filtering through the branches, creating picture-perfect memories.

The reception, held in one of the estate’s luxurious spaces, was intimate and warm. The long tables beautifully adorned with simple yet elegant floral arrangements, and candles casting a soft, romantic glow over the room. The menu, featuring fresh local produce, was a hit with the guests, who couldn’t stop raving about the food. The speeches were filled with love and laughter, with friends and family sharing stories that ranged from sweet to hilarious, bringing both tears and smiles to everyone’s faces.

When it was time for the first dance, Felicity and Andrew stole the show with a choreographed routine to a song that held special meaning for them. It was followed by a touching moment when Felicity danced with her father to “It’s a Beautiful Day,” the very song he heard when she was born. Andrew shared a heartfelt dance with his mother, adding to the emotional atmosphere of the night. Then, with everyone on the dancefloor, it was time to party!!

As the evening came to a close, it was clear that this wedding was more than just a beautifully planned event—it was a celebration of love, family, and the deep connection between Felicity and Andrew.
