I’ve been to many weddings, and while they're all fun, some just have that unique magic.

Caitlin & Reuben’s beautiful winter wedding at Midginbil Eco Resort in Northern NSW had that extra special sauce that makes a day unforgettable.

My day kicked off with Reuben and his groomsmen, where the banter was thick and set a lively, fun tone for the day. Then it was off to see Caitlin and her bridesmaids—her sisters and mother—who looked stunning and were impressively organised. Caitlin wore her grandmother’s wedding dress from the early 60s, and it looked timeless (there’s that special sauce!). We breezed through some candid shots & classic portraits before heading to the ceremony.

A ceremony at the Midginbil tree is always nice but this afternoon the weather was spectacular (more sauce?) Their vows were full of beautiful moments, with Reuben not knowing whether to laugh or cry. After the “I do’s,” they walked back down the aisle through a shower of confetti and hugs of congratulations. We captured some family photos and then everyone relaxed with a drink as we watched the sunset. Before it disappeared, we squeezed in some fun bridal party shots, and then everyone headed to the barn for more drinks.

Before we all went inside the barn, we made a line of guests to get a quick photo with the happy couple to some upbeat music—each couple had 15 seconds to strike a pose, and it was a chaotic blast! Dinner was served, followed by speeches that had Reuben on an emotional rollercoaster again. As the night cooled, the fire was lit, and the newlyweds exited through a sparkler tunnel—a perfect moment for Caitlin to slip away to change into a stylish white pant suit. They returned to cut their unique cheese round cake (extra sauce) before their first dance, which quickly turned into a flash mob – super saucey!

The band rocked, the guests rocked harder, and everyone partied into the early hours making it a party to remember.

Congrats lovers
