Emily and Tom's New Year's Eve bash at Midginbil Eco Resort was a sparkling festival extravaganza that they affectionately dubbed "Sturchella"!
The ceremony, set under the grand fig tree, was nothing short of magical, adorned with disco balls and bursts of flowers – the local cows even came to wish them all the best! Skipping the traditional post ceremony 2-hour photo shoot (not our style at Wattleseed Collective), the couple dove straight into the festivities with their nearest and dearest outside the barn. Vintage caravan photo booth? Check. Body glitter station? Double-check. Personalized cocktail glasses, Fireball shots, and non-stop laughter? Triple-check.
As the sun dipped, I whisked Emily & Tom away for a quick 15-minute photo session, capturing the essence of their day. What stood out was Emily and Tom wanting a shot with them in the foreground & festival buzzing in the background – a testament to their guests-first approach. My absolute favorite shot is of them striking a pose on a funky couch with Tom’s handmade neon sign as the backdrop.
The weather threw in some dramatic flair too, with threats of rain all day, a few light showers, and even thunder during the ceremony. But, in a perfectly timed twist, the heavens held back until everyone was snug inside the barn, making it a day of laughter, love, and impeccable timing. Cheers to Emily and Tom, the festival trendsetters! 🎉💑 #Sturchella #NewYearsEveWedding #FestivalVibes #PerfectlyTimedJoy
