Edwina & Matt’s Wedding
Last Saturday was one for the books…..It started like a normal wedding day but on my drive to bride prep everything blew up – south east Queensland was going into lock down at 4pm. Luckily I was more than an hour early (I had planned to get some lunch) so after a call from a Bridesmaid I was straight to Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove and into a whirlwind of activity. The whole day was being fast tracked to get everything finished before the lock down. Bridesmaids and family were all making calls to the guests, Sugar mobile makeup was moving at record pace and I was trying to capture it as normal as possible. As Edwina’s dress went on I could feel a calm come over everyone – we could pull this off. The rest of the afternoon Cedar Creek Estate wines was filled with bagpipes (yes, you read that right) tears of joy and lots of laughs. When I looked over the all the shots this morning you really can’t pick up that we were on a mission to get through the day, it looks like a happy couple on their wedding day. Such a fun group of family and friends made it one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever done. Congratulations lovers, you did it.
